Session 18 — The Temple of Angharradh

Hey Bob,

Shh, it’s okay, we don’t need to wake the others. There’s no trouble, I just wanted to chat for a minute. This forest, it’s so beautiful, but so strange and dangerous. Nothing like the great grasslands back home. Even in the late hours of the night, there seems to be so much life moving about us. I’ll be honest, I’m really out of my element here. I think we all are; I’ve never seen everyone on such high guard. Back home, we’ve traveled the lands and made friends far and wide, and perhaps a few enemies here and there. But here? It seems everywhere we go we cause trouble. Yeah… the Wild Rovers seem to seek out trouble, but not like this. Even Urs isn’t acting like himself, this morning he didn’t even use his hammer to seek out a direction.

Session 17 — A King’s Ransom

Hi! Urs here. So, no shit, there I was, sitting in a campsite that felt familiar… But I couldn’t quite place it. Lot had happened. Tobias got taken. I rode a bear into battle. Died. Came back. Props Aengus.

Side note. I want to recap what I have learned thus far:

1.) Not all Humans are Humans. There are also Genesse. And Dworfs. Vara (I still think she is Human, just saying.)
C.) Violence doesn’t solve everything. Like, 1 time out of 10 (just learned that number, very excited about that) words, or not doing something is better. Obviously, violence is still very important.
7.) Just because someone says they aren’t lying doesn’t mean they aren’t lying. Also, just because someone says they are telling the truth, doesn’t mean they are telling the truth. This is happening a lot it seems these days.
Urs.) Counting is hard.

Session 16 — The Lurking Ooze

Desmond and Aengus quickly regrouped with Vara and Urs, whose memories had just been wiped by the tentacle monster that disappeared with the necklace containing Tobias. Fortunately, their memories returned after just a few minutes of awkward arguing. Vara was certain she was about to receive another beating from Urs for the Command spell she was forced by their enemy to cast upon him, but Urs was driven instead by his most important ‘sponsibility: protecting Tobias.

Session 12 — Gnomes and Mazes

When last we left our intrepid band of adventurers they were preparing to ply their unique blend of cunning, wit, and interpersonal prowess in the Garden District of Lo’Thar. Contracted by Master Tree Hugger to deal with a gnome infestation within the labyrinthine hedges at the center of the district, the Wild Rovers, along with a town guard, fearlessly approached the source of the gnomish nuisance.

Session 11 – A Wild Rover Reunion!

Dear Angus,

I get it my friend, life is rough. The monetary demands of owning a ranch can be overburdening, sick children are everywhere, and now even the holy vows of marriage are no longer sacred. However, the next time Urs orders two dozen beers, you really don’t need to drink all of them! I partially blame the innkeeper for not letting us take them upstairs, but perhaps it would have been better to give them out to the other inhabitants and now just down them all! I noticed that you haven’t really been yourself since then, at times your quiet, at times your accent has a hint of Urs in it, and sometimes you just seem like you’re not even in there! Because how absent your presence has been, I thought I would write down some notes to catch you up to speed once this strange hangover has passed, trust me I know how crappy hangovers can be (and Mason is apparently all out of hangover relief potions).

Session 10 — Rovers for Hire!

Dear Tyresha,

I hope you are well! So much has happened since we left Shalako, I can’t wait to tell you all about it! We found a sick kid who had some abnormal magical powers, everything was blowing up, it was unnaturally dark, and magical creatures kept appearing and disappearing. It was really cool, but also really scary because I really didn’t know what to do. Luckily I have a really smart friend who knows a lot about our people, the water genasi, so Vitus is currently watching him! We have about a week of down time, and I would love to come visit but we need to make some extra gold thanks to those pesky dark elves stealing it all! I’ll explain that part later…
