Imminent Doom

A few notes as I prepare for the next session:

I’m not sure how else to say this, but y’all better start making better decisions or there will be a TPK in your future, probably sooner rather than later. I truly love that Urs and Desmond are clueless and are being played the way that they are: lovable and dumb. However, I’m going to challenge the rest of the party to start thinking, planning, and managing their compatriots a little better, because some characters are currently making important decisions for the party that they probably shouldn’t be making. I’m not talking about getting jailed by Drow, that happens sometimes. But sailing into a dark cliff and making zero effort to stealth/protect/be aware of surroundings as you climb a 250 rock face called Insanity? Session 5 — All Aboard the Laura Ann!

Dear Bro,

Sorry I left you so quickly, I didn’t want my friends to leave without me! We left on a big boat to travel to a city called Armatta to save some sick kid. And even cooler, we’re going to be traveling across the ocean!!! Avery, the funny old man that travels with us, was able to find a boat for us to travel on, and he has done a fantastic job so far teaching us how to sail. I’ve been doing a great job watching out for dangers on the sea while the others assist with all the ropes (besides Aengus, he likes to swing on them and play around). Avery has a boat named the Altair, but I guess we’re racing against it to get to the child first. Some guy named Mernand is currently sailing that ship, I think they used to be friends but now they’re not friends… that’s pretty sad. I hope they can make up soon. Speaking of friends, Avery really seems to know a lot of people. I think he’s also friends with Tommy, that guy from the Myths and Weapons. Perhaps we should sell him some acne cream, he could use it!
