Ragon had returned! But he was greatly changed. His attire was strange: He wore a red suit cloaked in roiling flames. Just as striking to those who knew him was the conspicuous absence of the corruption that had scarred his face for years. Furthermore, Ragon reported that the soul anchors stamped onto his back by Devin were now gone. What had happened to him?

The Pisspots entered the treasure room and shut the door behind them to keep out the rising tide. There was more wealth here, including several diamonds, than they could possibly carry home with them. They really should have thought to bring a Bag of Holding or something.

Most-Divine Emilia told them that a single large diamond was en route to the college and was planned to be used to resurrect a dead soldier. She offered Kaicho a choice: he could allow her to save the soldier’s life, or he could take the diamond for himself once it arrived to restore his friends.
