Argora relayed to the party that the six orcs in the next room were arguing and that at least one wanted to depose their current leader, Ulfe, and replace him with another, Yarrack, who had the favor of the queen, Shagol. Session 14 — Enemies at the Gate
The party proceeded into a dark cave where they heard the sounds of orcs in conversation. Avoiding these voices, they crept silently in the dark until they came to a “jalapeƱo-shaped” jail cell. A pair of human prisoners were shackled within, and one named Garadel began shouting for their help. Session 13 — The Impostor
The party made camp in the woods outside the orc stronghold. Feeling like they were no longer in immediate danger, they turned their attention to Hugo, who had twice recently assaulted his allies when he was woken from a fitful sleep. Session 12 — Battle Cuddles
Rallying, the party slew 4 of the 7 duergar ambushers. Hugo held one captive with a Levitate spell as the female duergar leader, Ghared, and one other vanished magically. The group interrogated their prisoner, but he refused to provide any information about what his people were doing in the adjacent rooms. He offered his head, and Kavagal swiftly took it, to the dismay of the rest of the party. Continue reading “Session 12 — Battle Cuddles”
