Once upon a time a great city stood at the center of a tropical island. Its leader was unkind, but effective, and life there was simple. But one day an army of zombies approached the city. Its walls were mighty, but eventually the city fell to the undead horde. The coastal city of Innsmouth soon met a similar fate.
Session 29 — Retreat, Regroup, Recon
The Pisspots turned tail and fled, leaving any remaining inhabitants of Innsmouth to their fate. They regrouped with Elida and made their way toward the teleportation circle that offered a means of escape from the island. “Wake up, Milo! We have to go now!” the druid yelled as she shook the small yet larger-than-life halfling awake. “I have Elida. We need to leave!” The Bard remembered now, he had been fighting a swarm of zombies hell-bent on breaching the walls of Innsmouth. The group swam for the far shore where the trees were thick and no light could shine through. The perfect hiding spot! They weren’t very welcome when they were last there, but—never ones to hold grudges—the group decided to save the town from the encroaching zombie hordes (except for the thieving gnome bartenders that ruined their reputations, screw them).
