As the dust settles, the Wild Rovers hear “You OK?” from the hole ripped through the wall by Desmond’s lightning bolt. Desmond invis all. Aengus lie, saying some alchemy experiment exploded and it was dangerous to enter. “Oh I can help, I know about those things.” Knocking on door. Also sounds like someone’s wedding was ruined by the lightning. Urs quickly chop off Darius’s limbs and throws all parts in the Bag of Hooding. Aengus and Vara dimension door to inside sewers. Desmond polymorph Urs into rat, then wild shape self into rat. Desmond retains his own mind, Urs has rat mind and just wants cheese. Desmond convinces Urs he has cheese at home and that he should follow.
Rats go through lightning hole and enter bakery Frosted Tips with upset wedding party. Climb stairs to find empty hallway with window. Rat Desmond tells rat Urs that “magic bird” will carry him away. When Desmond reverts to human so that he can transform into a bird, Urs hides from the human. Desmond drops polymorph, and a table crashes over when Urs returns to normal form. Desmond instructs Urs to put on his ring of invisibility and climb out the window. Urs fall to ground and falls unconscious. Crowd gathering around him. Desmond as squirrel scurry through window, across roofs, and down to alley. Turns back into himself, approaches, “Excuse me, excuse me, I’m a healer”. Citizens deduce Urs is guilty and pick up the body. Desmond backs away, healing word on Urs. Crowd tries to hold Urs down, but he rages and casts them off. “If anyone asks, my name is Urs. Remember I am outside the building, no one saw me inside.” Guards chasing Urs, ducks into alley and then ring of invisibility. Desmond ducks away too and also casts invisibility. Urs ultimately heads toward docks and jumps into water.
Aengus tell both Urs and Desmond: “Meet in woods west of Lo’Thar, in sight of the gate where we entered Lo’Thar returning from Shalako. Wait for us to approach.” Vara and Aengus struggle to find path out of sewer. Find corroded armor and weapons, attacked by and kill black pudding-like creature.
Urs and Desmond rendezvous in woods. Vara and Aengus (aka Zelda and Scott) run into three criminal-types who Vara scares away. They wait for nightfall beneath a sewer grate, get out just as more tough guys arrive. Vara and Aengus make their way downtown covered in sewer waste, exit out the city’s west gate, and meet up with Urs and Desmond. Urs is dismembering and eating Darius. Aengus bathe in stream. Aengus and Desmond discuss their poor chooses. Bunk, Urs’s bear friend, joins the gang and eats most of Darius’s body parts.

- A magical pouch (of holding?) that resists the identify spell, from Darius, which was luckily NEVER placed inside our Bag of Hooding…
Plan to go to begin travel to Shalako the next day, where Aengus may be able to establish a sanctuary for Word of Recall.
